Dr. Colin MacRae owns the private game reserve that Horseback Africa operates on. He has a wealth of experience in the African bush and knows his wildlife intimately. He can bring across to his guests a deep understanding and appreciation of the pristine eco-system that surrounds them.  Colin can help the student to develop an affinity for wildlife so that you will be able to capture that magical "Kodak moment" as it unfolds.

	The 8 day course covers all aspects of the Digital SLR camera from understanding the various Functions provided by the camera to understanding lighting control and the effects of different lenses, enabling you to improve your photo taking abilities. The course is also suitable for beginners and the course content in summary will cover; *Your camera set up – the various modes & buttons *Understanding Depth of Field of Focus, and how to control and maximize this. *The use of different Lenses & their effect *A full understanding and control of Aperture, Shutter speed & White balance *How to control and get perfect Exposures every time without fail. *Understanding & controlling different Lighting situations *Shooting in RAW mode – this medium provides you with maximum quality images *How to get sharp images *A comprehensive Photoshop CS4 curriculum. You will learn the important techniques of CORRECT EXPOSURE, SHARP  IMAGES and COMPOSITION. With your better understanding of the topics covered, you can now begin to let your creative juices flow.
	Equipment You will need to bring your digital SLR camera with a fully charged battery together with any lenses. You should also bring your laptop along.
